Understand everyday conversations
You will deepen your knowledge of the language. You will be able to understand everyday situations, expressing yourself with basic words and phrases, so you don't feel lost in situations of need!
Practice your pronunciation
It is not enough to know typical words or expressions. Interacting with other people also requires knowing how to pronounce words in the correct way. In this course, we will work a lot on your pronunciation!
Integrate yourself into social events
You will be able to actively participate in group conversations, interact with local people, and understand basic conversations so you can fully enjoy your experience, fighting the anxiety of conversing in the language!
Course Content
The course has 4 modules for 7+ hours of learning and practicing. It also includes 20+ full-length artwork tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want.
The course is designed for English speakers. As Swiss German and English are very different languages, I will explain most of the concepts in English to help you grasp the main ideas more easily, making your transition to Swiss German smoother and more understandable.
No prior knowledge of the language is required.
This beginners' course is specifically designed for those who are starting from scratch, so it starts with the absolute basics. However, it is also ideal for advanced beginners, as the lessons progressively increase in difficulty.

Fundamentals of Grammar and Language Structure

👉🏼 learn the Swiss-German alphabet and correct pronunciation of unique sounds.
👉🏼 Key grammatical rules will be covered, including singular vs. plural nouns and the use of definite and indefinite articles.
👉🏼 Explore sentence formation and personal pronouns to build simple sentences effectively.

Basic Vocabulary and Useful PhrasesÂ
